  The Van der Graaf "G.V." Drum Motor utilized a stationary shaft eliminating the need for pillow block bearings. Because the gears are continuously bathed in oil, the unit is able to achieve effective heat dissipation and extremely low noise levels. Power supply is direct to the stator, with no slip rings or brushes.

  Due to it's advanced design, the unit is virtually maintenance free - requiring only periodic oil changes to be carried out every 50,000 hours of operation - without dismounting the unit from the conveyor frame.

  The unit is easily installed and quickly replaced. In the event that the modification or repair is necessary, Van der Graaf will fully service each and every customer.
