Sampla Belt Profiles
Sometimes, smooth
belts or belts with a low profiled surface are not enough to carry
slippery or bulky materials up steep inclines. In these cases, cleats
of varying heights and shapes (depending on the type of product), must be
welded on to the belt to prevent material from falling back and to
maintain the conveying capacity even at high angles of incline.
SAMPLA BELTING
designed and developed a range of cleats that meet the normal incline
conveying requirements.
The choice of profile,
as well as the right spacing and positioning, is determined by a thorough
analysis of the application.

CLEATS & GUIDES
Our profiles are of
high quality, and are available in PVC, PU and Polyolefin. Square, rectangular
and standard tracking guides can be fitted on both belt surfaces. Notched
tracking guides allow for greater flexibility over pulleys.
Each profile has been
designed to satisfy the possible working conditions. New profiles have
been developed, in particular for running on small drum diameters in the
food industry.
Spondaflex Side
Walls
Spondaflex is a high
capacity conveying system based on the use of sidewalls, which eliminates
spillage and serves as an alternative to the traditional throughed
conveyors, with the following advantages:
1. Higher conveying
capacity.
2. No spillage.
3. Application on conveyors with varying
inclines.
When fitted with
cleats, material can be conveyed on very steep inclines. Spondaflex is
available in green and white color and in various heights from approx. 1.2
to 3.2 high.
