CGI-MRG GASKETS

The Flexitallic CGI-MRG gasket has been developed specifically for use on HF Alkylation Units were corrosion of the flange faces presents a real problem. Traditional spiral wound gaskets use Monel or carbon steel inner rings. However, both materials have limitations and neither mechanism offers a “tight” seal between the HF acid and the Monel windings of the spiral wound gasket. The CGI-MRG gasket offers a primary seal and prevents any corrosion of the carbon steel flanges. The CGI-MRG gasket is designed to suit standard flanges and requires no extra bolt stress to compress and maintain a tight seal.
