Gently Moves Product Around 90 and 180 Turns
Field-proven Wire Belt Flex-Turn power turning units gently convey products-in-process around corners while maintaining perfect alignment. The compact design solves production line space problems and makes cleaning quick and easy. Units may be floor or ceiling mounted, or incorporated into the adjoining conveyor framework.
Product transfers are made over small, 1.5" constant diameter end rolls that eliminate external rollers or slides. The Flat-Flex conveyor handles loads up to 10 lbs per square foot at belt speeds ranging between 6 and 36 feet per minute at the inside radius. The unit utilizes a unique, tapered pitch Flat-Flex wirebelt which is positively driven to eliminate slipping and tracking problems.
The belt does not collapse on itself to form the radius, greatly reducing the potential for product damage. The belt supporting surface is made of high density polyethylene on aluminum. Stainless steel shafting, end rolls and snubber rolls, stainless steel legs and aluminum and/or stainless brackets and fastenings make the unit ideal for tough manufacturing environments.
Direction of belt travel may be either left or right. The standard height is adjustable from 37.5" to 39". Other custom heights are available at an additional cost.
